Description:
Taken near a wind farm in Wyanet, IL. These were spotted as they were migrating through.
Habitat:
Uncommon. Winters on dry hilltops with short grasses; nests on tree line edges of grassy tundra.
Notes:
I know these photos are terrible in quality, but these birds were part of a research project I was involved in, and just a great find in general!
