Description:
Brown anole (Anolis sagrei), an invasive species that is now very wide-spread in the southeastern U.S. Native to Cuba and the Bahamas, and nearby islands, these lizard established themselves in Florida in the late 19th century by hitch a ride on trading ships.
Habitat:
Just about anywhere, from trees to junk piles to window sills. I have quite a colony of these living in the jalousie windows of my office.
