Field Notes

Description:

Taken at Punta Espinosa on Fernandina. I believe this one is female, as males have red streaking on their crowns.

Habitat:

Found throughout the majority of the islands. This one was spotted in a mangrove cluster.

Notes:

Subspecies is endemic to the Galápagos.
