Description:

The Common Sailer or Albizia Sailer (Neptis laeta) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Subsaharan Africa. The habitat consists of forests and woodland.

Wingspan is 40–48 mm in males and 45–52 mm in females. Adults are on the wing year-round with peak from December to May.

Habitat:

In bushes at the edge of the forest along the road leading to Kibale Fores NP.

Notes:

Kibale National Park (pronounced Chibale) is a national park in South Uganda protecting moist evergreen rain forest. It is 766 km² in size and is located between 1,100–1,600 meters in elevation.

Kibale is one of the last remaining expanses to contain both lowland and montane forests. In East Africa, it sustains the last significant expanse of pre-montane forest.
