Species ID Suggestions

Fireweed

Epilobium angustifolium

Comments (1)

It's called Fireweed because it's one of the first plants to come up and bloom after a forest fire. It likes any clearing, such as a forest clearcut, but gives way to taller shrubs in succeeding years.
