Description:
This bird is a typical tit in its general appearance. It shows grey back and wing-covers with white wing-bar; underparts are white or dirty-white or yellowish with a broad black ventral line. The hood is black with white cheeks.
Habitat:
Dry hilly rural area of central Nepal.
Notes:
Unfortunately, photos are a bit blurred... I saw the bird in a fleeting moment, on a branch not very close by, and estimated that it was getting ready to fly away, or that my party would scare it away (we were a larger group, and not there for birding - as always in my occupation, these groups tend to be too loud...)
I absolutely wanted a photo of it (it was a lifer) so I used the famous photo technique "spray and pray"... and I shot a long rafal on automatic in general direction of the bird, these were the best ones.
