I vote for female Red-winged Blackbird, too. If the male were to lift his wing a bit you would see the red bar.
I think the one on the left is just a female Red-winged Blackbird
Not all red-winged blackbirds have the red stripe. Many times the best way to identify them is by the white stripe.
The bird on the left looks like it could be a white-throated sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis), if that is yellow at the base of its bill. Or a white-crowned sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys) if it's not.
