Description:

Crown City Strip Mines - ODNR Wildlife Reserve - Scottown Ohio. In the 1980's this land was used by the Crown City Coal Mining Company to strip surface coal. It was later purchased by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the 10,000 acres was reclaimed into this beautiful wildlife reserve. Hunting, fishing, birdwatching. It's scenic drive begs for pictures.

Notes:

Turkey, deer, rabbits, squirrels, beavers, bobcats, hawks, herons, coyotes, raccoons, oppossums...the list goes on.

Thank you Mary! We are quite lucky to have this in our "back-yard". :)
Hi there Sarah! For some reason your first picture isn't showing. If you go in and edit you can place the beaver dam picture first.
