Thank for your help on my first butterfly spotting! It was hard for me to identify it, so I appreciate the help. It did not helped me that I was looking at my pictures as if it was the same butterfly.

It looks like you have two different butterflies here. The one in the first image looks like a black phase female Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Papilio glaucus: http://bugguide.net/node/view/912485/bgimage
The butterfly in the second two images (with the damaged hindwing), looks like a female Pipevine Swallowtail, Battus philenor: http://bugguide.net/node/view/963499/bgimage
Check out the links and see what you think. These guys can be tricky but there are a few distinctions that can help separate them. :-)
