Description:

Metalic green bees with black and yellow abdomens. Busy collecting pollen from the sunflowers in the pollinator garden. Smaller than the bumblebees; about the size of a honeybee, maybe longer.

Habitat:

Open field near woodland; schoolyard pollinator garden.

Notes:

Very pretty bees
