Description:

Small heart shaped leaves growing out of a moss covered stump in the Great Smoky Mtns Nat'l Park in Tennessee, beside Little Greenbrier School in the woods. There were no flowers, only this green plant.

Yes, thank you! I guess in October when I photographed this it was too late for flowers. I sure would love to see this covered in violets! I might have to go back. Believe it or not, in the huge Smoky Mtns Nat'l Park, I know exactly where to find it again.
