Field Notes

Description:

The UK's largest member of the tit family, the wings are a blue/grey, the back has a greenish tone, the breast is yellow with a black central line running the full length of it's underside.

Habitat:

Woodland, Urban parks & gardens. It can often be found in small flocks of blue tit's. long tail tits, and coal tit's.

Notes:

This bird and it's mate have been regular visitors to my garden for over years and they have produced four chicks that have survived to adulthood.
