Field Notes

Description:

A distinct blue crown and wings, black bandit-mask, white cheeks, yellow breast with central line

Habitat:

Woodlands, parks, and gardens

Notes:

Along with the european robin, the Blue tit is one of the most instantly recognisable bird in the uk. It can be seen most often flitting around woodlands and hedgerows. Put some bird feed out and the odds are that one of the first birds to appear will be the adorable blue tit
