Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

Hi Daimon. Do you have a full body picture? For ID of insects (as well as for plants), we need a picture of the whole insect and as "many as possible" pictures of other body parts to look for sometimes important details. But the most important picture is one of the whole insect, best from top and from the side to see the proportions and shapes better. In your spotting we would like to see the proportions of the antennae to the body to distinguish grasshoppers from katydids. We would also like to see the wings (if there are any) and to estimate the length of the wings to see what family/subfamily it belongs and to look if it is an adult or a nymph.
