Description:

Grey to brown to blackish upper parts (variably mottled); barred tail; plain buff or pinkish buff below; lightly spotted on the flanks.
Photo taken at Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Habitat:

Most common large falcon in this region, semi-arid bush, open rocky hill country, and woodland area.
