Field Notes

Description:

White Dirona, found in an Oregon Coast tidepool in the early morning. Tide pools are nearby offshore kelp forests. Specimen was about 1.5" long, though specimens as large as 3" were seen (but not so easy to photograph).

Habitat:

Tidepool during -1.0 tide, early morning. Rocky, with sand base, and much kelp forest debris.
