Field Notes

Description:

This lovely bird appears to have a small crest on its crown which is dark gray extending down over its back and wings. It has a white chin and the same dark gray throat, and the chest is a red/brown kind of colour. Also seems to have white tips on the under-tail feathers.

Habitat:

Cruising around amongst the trees at the Mankajarra Wetlands.
