Description:

This strange shell creature was washed up on the beach. When I poked it it moved and quivered.

Habitat:

Sea.

There were a whole load of them scattered along the beach. I suppose it could be a colony. I'd never thought of that.
It could be a colony of shellfish attatched to each other or to a common object.
