Field Notes

Description:

Small mammal with slender bodies, bushy tails, and large eyes. Their fur is soft and silky and can be much thicker in some species than others. Color of squirrels also varies and even within species.

Habitat:

Rice University Campus.

Notes:

These squirrels are pretty friendly. Most will hang around you if you're outside eating and they will come eat out of your hand.
