Field Notes

Description:

The underside and much of the face are bright yellow. There is a black "V" on the breast. The back and wings are brown with grey and black streaks. They mostly eat bugs but will occasionally eat seeds and berries. See the video for the song.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Antelope Island State Park in Utah. The habitat is mostly semi-open grassland.
