Lori, I think you've just synthesized what Project Noah is all about.
I think there are lots of times that we take a photo, not because it will be a great photo in and of itself, but mainly to remind us of the thrill of the experience of being in the presence of something wild and fleeting. In truth, photos rarely do justice to what we see with our own eyes.
It was so beautiful! Wish I could have gotten a closer photo.
Great catch. I've never seen one in the wild.
