Description:

An unusually large ant, with a slight striping pattern on lower thorax

Habitat:

Back porch of rural home

Notes:

This ant appeared to chase/hunt smaller ants. Interestingly, it was not interested in the snack food dropped on the porch, though smaller ants were.
