Field Notes

Description:

Notable for its little black head cap with a band beneath it around the face. Very similar to one of the Lycidas but the latter has bands along the abdomen and no white band on the face

Habitat:

This one lives among the brick walls and window sills of my apartment

Notes:

This species seems to replace the little Lycidas and Helpis species that were the main Salticids in that habitat at Budgewoi
