Field Notes

Habitat:

These spiders were spotted hanging in the door way of the Banteay Kdei ruin, a Buddhist temple in the Angkor Wat area.

Notes:

I'm pretty sure that the larger spider is a Giant Wood Spider (Nephila pilipes), but I don't know what the smaller species in the frame is.

That's sort of creepy
i was trying to id the larger spider via a phone, even though i was close i think you a right with Nephila maculata!!
