Description:

The adult Burrowing Owl is smaller than a pigeon. It weighs between 125 and 185 g and stands from 19 to 20 cm tall. Its body is generally brown, mottled with white flecks and barred across the chest.

Habitat:

The habitat this owl was found in was an old tree in a park. The area is surrounded by lots of oak trees and other wildlife.

Notes:

This owl has a family of 5. All the locals have been watching these owls on the island for years. They are very popular and show up all the time and like to hang out in open trees while hunting.
