Description:

An Autumn Meadowhawk dragonfly spotted along the boardwalk at Huntley Meadows Park. This individual is a male, as indicated by its coloration and terminal appendages. The dragonfly is shown perching on Swamp Rose (Rosa palustris) hips. Related Resource: Swamp Rose http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swamp_rose
