Description:

Not a commonly found Phasmid.
Mostly greyish black with a prominent protruded head, a significant feature of Paraloxopsis. They have the humped forewings which makes them stand out compared to other winged species.
This Female is around 7 cm in length, with wings and able to fly short distance. The Males (not seen) are likely to fly well.

Habitat:

Tropical rain forest.
