Field Notes

Description:

Vigorous but non-invasive climber, the spotting is for 2 different cultivars which compass a 60' fence to 12' high. Ex.1 is pure white (stamens green), Ex.2 has white petals at base, the "frilly part" has a deep burgundy center ring, thin white stripe, bright blue/violet towards outer half.

Habitat:

Maritime, east and south exposure, full sun. Right inside SF Bay next to the water by marina green.
