Field Notes

Description:

Generally gray-brown in color with a reddish tint when newly emerged and with an orange underside marked with black. An ivory- colored blotch is usually visible at the base of the abdomen when the insect is viewed from the side.

Habitat:

Wildlife habitat yard.
