Description:

Lacewing like wings, a long thorax and a long ovipositor enlarged at the distal end.

Habitat:

Open habitat. Grasses, wildflowers, scattered pines and aspens. Elevation 8,373 ft.

Notes:

Spotted on a sliding glass door during the day. Adults and larvae are predators of soft bodied insects.
