Field Notes

Description:

Has tall stalks with a group of flowers on top. Most flowers will be yellow, orange, and red. The flowers attract butterflies such as the Monarch.

Habitat:

In my backyard.

Notes:

You might notice Monarch Caterpillars munching on your butterfly weed. They might even eat all of it (no joke). But it will grow back and you might even spot some cocoons. A very cool plant to have on your yard.
