I spotted this in Iwokrama Forest Reserve in central Guyana.

Thanks nance I was thinking that too. I've kept the same common name but changed it to just Clusia sp. for now.
Dan, when I was looking at these earlier, I noticed that yours has 12 sections and birdlady's only 8. Just wondering if that might indicate different varieties. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clusia). In my search I saw examples with five, seven and ten sections.
