Species ID Suggestions

Sergeant Major

Abudefduf saxatilis

Comments (4)

I did this identification mostly by range; A. vaigiensis has not been reported around Belize. But from internet pictures, I have noticed that saxatilis seems to have more extensive yellow in its dorsal yellow than vaigiensis.
They look just like the Indo-Pacific Sergeants (Abudefduf vaigiensis) we have in Hawaii. Is the Sergeant Major the Atlantic variety by chance?
@Jason: Many thanks for your ID contribution on Project Noah! Please, do not forget to add links to all of your suggestions!
