Description:

small extremely fuzzy flower. shrublike understory plant

Habitat:

transition zone between atlantic rainforest and cerrado

Notes:

I had to really search to find this flowers. As I took the photo a pair of dusky titi monkeys stopped in the trees above me to feed.

Thanks Wendy I think you're right. It looks like N. lanceolatus to me. The common name was a bit of a creative concoction I came up with that relates to some other species in the genus.
