Notes:

This striking blue-eyed bird was feeding on nectar in trees in the parklands of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. The bird belonged to a very active group of about 5 individuals. The bird’s body (tail not included) is about 15 cm long.

Thanks Alice! Yes the name is a bit of a "let down"... but I'm so pleased it got identified so fast! That tree was full of bird and insect activity. Will upload more soon.
Not a glamours name, but a glamorous bird! Also like the setting in the blossoming tree.
