Field Notes

Description:

Small bird, about 25 cm long. Has glossy blue-green iridescent feathers and bright orange eyes. Highly social bird which often forms big flocks with other starlings.

Habitat:

Woodlands, bushveld.

Notes:

Photo taken at the N/a’an ku sê Wildlife Sanctuary, located in Windoek Rural, Central Namibia.
