Description:

Though not as bright yellow as some other versions of this mold, this appeared on a dead tree stump at the local park after some heavy rainfall. I'm not really a fungus expert, in fact it's my weakest area, so if I'm wrong please let me know. Fungi is an awesome but confusing school of biology :)

Habitat:

Found all over.

Notes:

Apparently in Scandinavian folklore, this slime mold was believed to be the vomit of troll cats,
