Habitat:

Marsh habitat right off the Mississippi River. Nahant Marsh Education Center.

Notes:

There were several blue herons in this little marsh, and I was quite surprised how territorial they are. Every time a new individual flew in, another would take off after it, chasing it to another territory and returning to its own.
