Description:

One of North America's smallest bats, this little bat has 3 bands of color on each hair (base is black, middle is yellow, and tip is brown). These bands of color are obvious when you blow on the fur.

Notes:

This individual was captured while doing a mist net survey. Photos were taken while the bat was being measured by a coworker.
