Description:

Hemiptera; Coreidae; Acanthocoris scabrator (Fabricius, 1803). This is the only picture I managed to take of this bug. As soon as the flash fired, it took off.

Habitat:

Spotted on an Eggplant (Solanum melongena) in our vegetable plot.
