Wildlife Spotting

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnolia_liliiflora It looks like a Japanese Magnolia. My grandfather had one in his yard and we always called it a "tulip tree".

Others would know better than me. Without leaves I'm useless on a lot of plants

Looks like a magnolia to me; right time of year to be budding, too.

Or maybe a lily magnolia?

Possibly a Tulip Poplar, Liriodendron tulipifera
