Description:

Prominent hind legs several times the size of other legs, kite shaped abdomen, black or dusty gray in color except for slight reddish tinge on the end of it's antennae.

Habitat:

Fallen leaves, forest litter, pecan trees

It is not is not a beetle-- it is a true bug
