You do amazing work in the really close and really far away image captures.
Heather ... Yeh, my website is in need of updating. As for my micro work - I use a Leica CME compound microscope fitted with a Motic-1000 electronic camera (controlled through a computer).which is designed specifically for use with a microscope. Effective magnification for this photo is about 200X.
Elton, I looked up your Moonshine Observatory but don't see anything there about your microscopic stuff.
Elton, I am wondering, do you have a camera with a lens that does that great picture, or a microscope that somehow connects to a camera? I've recently been reading about people hooking telescopes to cameras for birding (and astronomy) and wildlife spotting from a safe distance. Going the other distance...into the world of the super small is just as fascinating to me. Can you give some details on how you did this picture?
Emma ... Wow, that's a pretty tall order. They are not a local species.
Hi , i love your spottings? Do you think that you could show us the cross section of a Cycas leaflet??
