Description:

Small black and red wasp with an elongated abdomen and orange and black legs, 8 mm long.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.

Maybe a bit unusual - but this is a very large family with a bit of variation. This one is a male, so you don't get the long ovipositor that you see in some females. The defining characters for this family are really in the wing venation (seen best in your third picture), and the antenna has more than 15 segments (as is also true for Braconidae).
