Field Notes

Description:

Parchment-like fungus crusted on a dead log. The edges looked more like individual small shelf forms, with expanses of interconnectedness inbetween.

Habitat:

Dead log in Prospect Park.

Notes:

My guess is that this is crowded parchment, Stereum complicatum.
