Description:

I took this Malabar Pied hornbill in our Office Colombo One my Staff member's and one my friend working with wild life consevation got a tip that there is a illeagle where house of Birds we did a Raid with Some Cutom Officers and Police help we bring take all the Animals but 4 of themd Died of Lack of food and water . there is some Sloth Bear as well
This picture taken in Captivity we have to put this Fantastic bird for 3 to 5 days to rehabilatate and put it in to the Wild for free

Habitat:

The Malabar Pied Hornbill is a common resident breeder in tropical southern Asia from India and Sri Lanka east to Borneo. Its habitat is open woodland and cultivation, often close to habitation.

thanks guys thanks for th comments ''Lori.tas'' this bird is verry weak we took the decisions to bring some vetenary surgents and some bird experts here in sri lanka to help this bird ''hornbill''Still in Captivity and verry weak we have to wait a nather one week or two week to get this bird in to top flight condition

This bird is clearly lucky to have been rescued. It's hard to imagine such a massive bird would survive long, or be at all healthy, in captivity.
