Field Notes

Description:

a/k/a Bizzy Lizzy

Habitat:

Impatiens are a plant for shaded areas, although if they are well-watered they can take partial shade. In cool areas impatiens are even grown in full sun, but watering must be generous and frequent. New varieties are coming on the market that are supposed to do well in full sun. They must have lots of water, and would still hesitate to put them in full sun in the South.
