Thanks .. StevenSpragg you are right.. I have changed it.
Unless this bird is in a sanctuary, it cannot be a Baudin's, they only occur in the SW of Western Aust. Most likely a yellow-tailed black-cockatoo
Thanks Elsa.. I do love them too.. In the moment we have a couple of Black Cockatoos down by the creek! I can hear them..
Pretty sure it is Baudin's from that second pic.. Another great bird spotting! I love parrots.
I'll see if I find some more photos..
Could it be Baudin's black cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus baudinii)? This one is a challenge and a half..
