Field Notes

Description:

Long, down-curved, bright red bill. Long red legs. Body all white.
Tips of wings black.

Habitat:

Marsh - since almost all of South Florida is a marsh - they are every where! This was taken on the golf course near my school right after a rain. they are doing what they always do - hunting for bugs. Note one juvenile
