I hope no offense was taken. I was there in January and plan on returning in maybe November. There is just so much to see and so many fascinating plants and animals (I actually forgot to take pictures at times because the sights were so strikingly beautiful). Thanks for the input.

I appreciate your lovely photos, but it would be interesting to know when they were taken. I see spottings from the Caribbean coast to the high mountains to the near Pacific coast all in a couple of days--a seemingly formidible task in a country like Costa Rica. Are some seasonal? (especially the plants) And are there better opportunities in different areas depending on the seasons? Simply love Costa Rica.
